Mi and L'au embark on lengthy UK tour

Finnish-French folksters Mi and L'au are to showcase their self-titled debut album of last year with a series of UK shows, running from late August into September.
The pair - who contribute a track to the recently released Folk Off compilation - have been said to remind label boss Michael Gira of "how one might imagine a Finnish landscape - haunting and pure". Errr, okay Michael. Take our word for it, though: these shows promise to be special.

Hanbury ballroom date
will be one of the last in this wonderful venue. Two weeks later it closes forever , to be turned into a private members club ...its a tragedy. And the freebutt is closed at the moment as well, pending being shut down by the council... i would imagine....so much for brightons live music scene....
