Grumble, grumble... dEUS were due to make a long awaited return to the UK this weekend at Reading/Leeds and Edinburgh, but they didn't show up.
A statement on dEUS.be reads as follows...
"Saturday August 28th, 2004
Due to sudden illness of dEUS gitarist Craig Ward, dEUS have unfortunately had to cancel their August 2004 UK dates. The band will of course be back in the UK in November."
DiS wishes Craig a speedy recovery.
DiScuss: Who else glumly sat around the radio1 tent incase rumours of them pulling out were untrue? Gutted?

It couldn't be any better! Cake and dEUS live in the same week instead of dEUS and a load of bands I've seen live before alongside meh bands at Reading on the Sunday.
This is an entirely self-centred point of view of course. I equally hope that Sunday at Reading was fantastic and they rebuild Craig Ward with a budget greater than or equal to $6,000,000.
Re: dEUS: Suffer "Sudden Illness"
I am gonna have to see how close Cake are coming to my little town so I can catch them this time around...
