sexytime
i was majorly surprised with how good hot cheeps were live, think i might have to go along to this.
...
it is beyond me how long Junior Boys to get any recognition on this site. They have been ruling the blogosphere for three years now. Catch up
sheeeesh...
...maybe it's because they've only just been picked up here?
We don't subscribe to every American/Canadian blog going, y'know.
Just to say...
...the Glasgow venue is called The Arches, not Archies.
yeah, but it's pronounced Archies...
um...
...no it's not.
It was a poor Scots-accent-related joke
which evidently fell flat.
...
they may be a Canadian band but they were signed to a UK label first. Last Exit was like THE bloggers choice of 2004. It's just surprising that this wasn't pick up..
I seem to
remember they had a track, 'Birthday' featured on a Jockey Slut (MUCH missed) CD about three years ago. So I think they were known to a good few of the populous.
the "blogosphere"
someone just included it casually in a post, with no speechmarks or anything...
amazing...
I'd be very interested to see them live. Shame it's in the Astoria really, I can't stand that place. The sound can be a bit shite, the toilet attendants are surreal, it is too big, and the stage is a long way away from the audience. But it is near my bus route home. I'm so there.
bollocks
I'm going to be at Uni in October...man I'm gonna miss london gigs! :(
I'm getting such big cheapies
thinking about this gig. Finally, a chance to see Junior Boys live.
Hot Chip should be OK too.
