Well, you succeeded. I don't really need to tell you about this band's huge not-so-underground-anymore following, do i?
Biffy's first album was a bit emo, really... although there was always something a bit special lurking in there that made them stand out. The second album took them further - they developed their own sound, and by that i don't mean they sound monotonous and like something that was done better decades ago like most of the godawful press-sponsored wank that does the rounds on mtv2 these days. Most of their songs have more twists and turns than an entire libertines album, yet still manage to be memorable and enjoyable to listen to... BC are one of the only bands around that are actually musically exciting to me. Although I wasn't overly impressed with 'Glitter & Trauma', the rest of the new stuff sounds pretty phenomenal - The new album is going to destroy anyone who bothers to open their ears.
I've not heard anything by Boxer Rebellion, although what i've heard of X is Loaded so far seems a bit bland... I shall see if they're any better live. Can't wait for the tour.
