Re: Komakino

the site is working for me (komakino.da.ru) but there aren't any tour dates for upcoming gigs that i can find. sorry!

Re: Komakino

argh.

they were supporting the mighty HOTS - and they were tedious. sorry guys. maybe it was just too damn hot in the night & day cafe,

Re: Komakino

i think it's one of those love hate things. i personally think they're fantastic, i've seen them supporting Hope Of The States, The Killers and New Rhodes on seperate occaions and thought they were great every time.

And other people that have seen the same gigs as me think they're ungreat. I don't get it :)

Re: Komakino

ive only seen them once and couldnt make my mind up, probably wouldnt go and see them again..so that says it all really, they were suppproting bloc party who i just cant get into either. Best band of the night were The Rakes

Re: Komakino

not seen the Rakes, and wasn't at that gig cos i was at the Water Rats to see another gig and couldn't get across town in time.

How are people not getting Bloc Party?! They're astounding!! And Komakino are great, but apparently that gig was rubbish for them. They got a slagging in the NME for it and were astounded it was as good as it was when they read it!

They've not been poor at all when I've seen them. I think people are just intimidated by their hair. I know I am.
