Futureheads scotch Scotland

The Futureheads have cancelled dates in Scotland on their forthcoming tour,
due to 'time restraints'.
The cancelled gigs are
November
29th - Inverness - The Raigmore
30th - Aberdeen - Cafe Drummonds
They will still however, be playing
December
1st - Northumbria - University
3rd - Liverpool - Academy
5th - Bristol - Fleece
6th - Birmingham - Carling Academy 2
7th - Portsmouth - Wedgewood Rooms
8th - Brighton - Concorde 2
9th - London - ULU
The band have also been announced as the main support to the Killers on their Shockwaves Hair Gel (arf) rock jaunt early next year.

I was going to buy The Futureheads album but due to 'time restraints' they can stick it up their arse.

i'd like to think this was down to their record company not the futureheads. then again it could be that scotland is just too damn cold (and too damn far) for mackems (note to those less educated than me - this is what we call people from Sunderland, I was going to call them geordies but i don't want people from the North East emailing me hate mail.) I mean come on, who the fuck wants to play to a load of sheep in the orkneys anyway? apart from the welsh maybe (where men are men etc...)-

He he - you made me laugh and I agree with you. Story of our lives - "time restraints" - bollox. Cos of course it takes soooo long to get "away up there" to Scotland.
You are missing out on a good album though. Worth it for principles I say!

i thought it was great. do you want me to explain it to you? you see the point he was making, as far as I can ascertain, and please do correct me if I'm wrong, is that scotland isn't very nice weather wise, during the day or indeed night. in fact, i've heard it's snowing up there right now. cos marti pellow told me so it must be true.-
