  • maiden???

  • "guitar fags"

what a horrible expression. if someone said that to me i'd clamp their balls with a capo and laugh. the bassist in the open mouths is pretty though.

    • Athol?

He's one of the Brainlove Records cohorts. He got us the money for the 7" club and is therefore ace.

  • I doubt it beats

    Turbonegro

    • or

      Pansy Division

      • Don't like turbonegro really.

        Pansy division are cool.
Not as good as THE FROGS though

        • wot no selfish cunt?

          • they have an agent these days dahhhling and their fees have apparently risen beyond the

world of playing fun gigs for booze and a little envelope of cash

            • Actually I'm not sure if Michael likes them

Michael Knife from Open Mouths, that is.
              It's his t'ing.

            • Jeez no offence but

those bands sound awful (sorry), especially the first one. Hate Brighton bands of the Anal Beard ilk.

  • I am so there

    how was Applicants on Saturday?

  • The Flesh Happening are good.

  • everyone

    go to this!

  • I just

looked at The Flesh Happenings' page.

Their background image is marvellously disturbing.

  • today

  • Did this happen?

I turned up at about 5pm and NHAC appeared to be closed. So I sacked it off and went book shopping instead.

    • ...

I was in there by then. It totally happened. It was cool

      • Bollocks.

Oh well. I'm sure I'll have other opportunities to drink far too many bottles of Troy

    • it started really late

and The Open Mouths were the only good band anyway.

      • I thought the first band were interesting, and the last one were funny

because of that forntman in a dress shrieking like a soul singer gone mental

        • the first band just pissed me off to be honest

the first few songs were pretty entertaining for the visual spectacle but then I was just like "how can they sound so overblown with only 2 instruments?!?!" and they reminded me of that performance art thing in that episode of spaced.

      • I didn't go

        because I suck.

        • is there a good song between any of them by any chance

or is it image and attitude winning over substance? Just curious!

          • I really enjoyed the open mouths

it's pretty standard indie rock type sound but the songs are strong.

And the singer's between song banter was truly hilarious
