The Dears, responsible for the critically acclaimed album 'No Cities Left' (out now on Bella Union, folks), have announced a full UK tour in the New Year.

Led by the brilliantly named Murray A Lightburn, the Canadian five piece will play:

the single is pretty uninteresting.. and the fact that they're championed by elton john fills me with a mixture of dread and anxious suspicion.

I'm so glad some great bands are coming to sheffield at last...there was a time when we were ignored but not anymore. i'll be at the sheff gig and maybe the rescue rooms. Just would be nice if NME would remember us on their great tour.

Yeah I'm gonna be going to that for sure. There are also great bands in Sheffield too. Keep eyes and ears out for the likes of Arctic Monkeys, 1984, Trap2 and the Long Blondes

i saw them by chance in nottingham, cos my girlfriend went off to do something gimpy, and was one of those nights where you go to bed satisfied with your days achievements(actually didn't really achieve an awful lot).
great live band, great songs, great musicians and great looking organ/synth players, one of whom i copped of with behind a curtain....obviously not

i saw them at dublin castle a while ago. Fit keyboardist, but that was about all i could decide about them. Pretty boring. Oh yeah that was another!!!
