Jenny Lewis, front woman of Indie dreamers, Rilo Kiley, is at work on an as-yet-untitled solo debut.

The record will be released on Conor Oberst's nascent Team Love label.

Rilo Kiley have just finished up an extensive tour in support of its latest album, 'More Adventurous'. Speaking to Billboard, Lewis said: "Four days after we got back [from touring], I made this record in six days with [producer] Mike Mogis. It's a kind of soul record. I'm really excited about it."

The disc is expected to see the light of day summer 2005.

Before then, Rilo Kiley will be heading to Europe with Bright Eyes in February next year as well as Japan and a select number of US dates including desert festival Coachella.

The Bright Eyes connection continues with various band members taking guest spots on Bright Eyes' two new albums, 'I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning' and 'Digital Ash in a Digital Urn'. Both records are due January 24th.

Lewis also appears on singer/songwriter Ben Lee's new record 'Awake Is the New Sleep' in February.

I do when it's this band!

Unfortunately, I'm on a modem connection, but I have spent the last few months slowly working my way through them..

I'll definitely go for the Washington one next; the quality isn't that good on them all.
Thanks!

The best thing ever is saying 'Rilo Kiley' in a geordie accent. Try Jayne Middlemiss as a point of reference.

Now THAT'S entertainment.
