If so, we need you.

This 200 capacity (terraced house) venue is celebrating it's 20th anniversary on the 1st of October this year.

What are we doing to celebrate?

We are writing a book to document the history of this small independent venue and the misuc scene over this period. This, we hope, will also act as a critical document supporting all similar venues in the UK that will be threatened when the new PEL (Public Entertainments License) is enforced in February 2005. Small independent venues have a critical and culturally important role to play in society and, if threatened by the PEL, will give greater control to corporate sponsered venues, large pub chains and allow major labels even more power who the public will see and hear.

What do we want from you?

A written contribution of no more than 1000 words. It may be only a paragraph, it's up to you.

All that we ask is that you get your stuff in by Saturday 14th August...
