Electric Six: Radio Ga Ga
Appearing on Channel 4’s Pop World last week, my esteemed boss commented to me that Electric Six looked like a ‘bunch of balding old Germans’, rather than the wild eyed, fighting crazies of 18 months ago. Unfair? Have you heard ‘Radio Ga Ga’? This, their comeback single proper after the oh-so chortlesome download single that was ‘Vibrator’ is a turgid lump of moribund filth. Its an impressive desecration of something that was so majestically camp, it couldn’t fail to unite the world in gleeful lederhosen-wearing sexual abandon.
Now, it’s uniting the world again. This time however, the general consensus is ‘piss off Electric Six, your novelty shit is about as funny as cancer and we have no need for your rancid, hackneyed musical cynicism’.
So there.

'Danger! High Voltage' is still a tune...but yeah, everything else they've done is really annoying. Especially 'Gay Bar'. It was kinda funny once. And only once. -

i have developed a worrying liking of electric 6, since seeing them a lot, while stalking their support band Little Nikita on their tour a few weeks a go.
personally, i think that their support acts are much better then them, coz obivously i love little nikita or else i wouldn't stalk them, but i LOVE esQuire, the gay white rapper from detriot. how rap should be. yes

This song was an abomination the first time round, it should be no surprise its triumphed in ineptitude once more. Queen are simply awful. -

well i think it's great, and you are all wrong and, making references to things being as funny as cancer is a) lazy , B) offensive and c) completely invalidates any argument on account of the large cliche quotient (much the same as comparing any overtly oppressive regime as naziesque)-

Yes, they are brill live, but i guess that's down to opinion, but in reply to the first post, I'd like to offer back, piss off yourself, and if you hate their music so damn much, don't bloody listen to it! -
Radio Ga Ga...
...is appauling. Only Queen can pull crap like this off, because, let's admit it, it's not exactly a good song is it? Electric Six make it even worse and their video definitely dooesn't help matters.
