Beecher sign to Earache

The deal is one of those worldwide jobbies, so expect the band to hop across the Channel in the not too distant future. The re-release will include new artwork (the original featured artwork by Isis and Hydrahead Records mainman Aaron Turner) and a few new tracks.
Guitarist Mark Lyons told whoever would listen: "We are proud to be joining forces with one of the most prominent and influential extreme labels out there".
But I thought they'd signed to Earache? I jest - Beecher are dead good, and you should buy their records. Oh yes.

But why? Earache's a terrible label. This is kinda like when The Letters Organise signed to Nitro Records. Total wrong decision. -

saw beecher at a halloween gig in nottingham and they were fucking awesome - and im not even that into hardcore! earache might have slipped a bit in the last few years but they've still launched and maintained some pioneering metal acts - i reckon they'll do ok. -

Mr Effloresce_Sean - Earache are a BIG label for our kind of music, pioneering in the 80s with some of my favorite and inspirational bands such as Napalm, Carcass, OLD, etc.. etc.. Were well Chuffed to be approached by a label we have always loved. Granted the Roster nowadays doesnt contain any of my favorites except maybe Deicide and a few others, but that isnt really what its all about. They are a powerful and prominent label with the ability to promote and push bands to a big audience worldwide, and that rules for us. If people think that its a wrong decision for us to do such and such a thing then they have no idea of what we are about or where we are from. Is it more appropriate for us to sign with say Deathwish, cos were a "hardcore band"!?! fuck that, we are a BAND full stop! Genres are stooopid. Thanks to you all for your comments, We will be recording our new album in May, there will be some touring before then though, so watch out for it!
