Of course, this is my opinion, you may hate them. But as I said before: If you don't like them DONT FUCKING BUY THE EPS, ALBUMS OR GO TO THE GIGS. Fuckasses.

At the end of the day though, I have a few observations to make:

1. Razorlight, for all the rubbish people spout about em being shite and whatnot, are the most successfull thing to appear in a long time. Like it or lump it, they've got lots of fans, and unlike Busted et al, most of em aren't screaming 8 year olds who watch Top of the Pops. I think Razorlight are great.

2. You can't really stick up for Mr. Diver's right to say what he wants, whilst calling Mr. Borrell all the names under the sun for saying what HE wants, can ya!? Fair play to em both, I say.
If Jonny has sold millions of albums by being a twat and saying controversial things, then he's a cleverer man than you or me, cos we're the unknowns who spend our days on websites like this moanong about him while trying to earn a penny. He's not, you see.

Since when did "good journalism" consist of not expressing an opinion? I am of course biased because my taste coincides somewhat with Mr. Diver's (except for not being very excited with the new DEP album). That's why I'm on this site. If you like Razorlight and don't want to hear them slated, WHY ARE YOU HERE? Read the NME.

P.S. I hate Razorlight because its cool and I'm man enough to admit it.

sold millions of albums? jumping the gun slightly aren't we? and i slagged borrell for being an arrogant wank, not because he was putting across his views like mr. divers. if borrell had something worthwhile to say then i think i'd have a bit more time for him, but as it stands hes just building himself up to be something much more impressive than he actually is.

If Johnny Borrell is a "twat" in your eyes just because he dares to say things unlike most of "rock stars" or "musicians" who are too cool to make any real comments, then I don't know what this world is becoming or Rock and Roll is becoming. For me, the spirit of Rock and Roll is about being daring. So if Johnny Borrell has the confidence, he is going to say it, what is wrong with that? Actually I met Razorlight, and they are all very nice people indeed, esp. Johnny Borrell, very intelligent person.

A lot of so called big hot rock stars never dare to say shit in public, but if you meet them in person, they treat you like shit, that's real arrogance. Plus, a lot of over night successful bands this year are thousand times worse than Razorlight. I think Razorlight is a great young band and has a lot of potentials. And they have so much passion live, unlike a lot of "posers" bands or "all-about-not-to-mess-up-my-indie-haircut" bands.

The best bands and singer-songwriters, the ones that release quality stuff year after year, are ALWAYS modest about their talents. They are their own harshest critics and are never satisfied with their art, ensuring that quality control is always used on each release.
However, Mr Borrell seems to think he is the 'greatest songwriter of his generation' and in doing so will always believe that whatever song he releases, no matter how shit, is the greatest ever written.
Furthermore, the fact that he whores himself to every radio station, television programme and magazine going proves that he is willing to big his band up for as long as the crest of the wave lasts which, deep down, he knows will be very short lived.
Lastly, 'Golden Touch' sounds like the kind of song ANYBODY could have written when they were 11 years old. And it's the best song they've got!
