Ship's a gone down

Promising post-rockers Ship's A Going Down have called it quits.

The trio, who have released records through the Vacous Pop and Noisestar labels and appear on the recent Unlabel 27 compilation, sent this e-mail to fans and associates:

"The band Ship's a Going Down have decided to call it a day. We achieved everything we set out to do. We played loads of shows with our favourite bands, made loads of friends and recorded and released everything we wrote. Big thanks to all the labels that put our songs out over the past couple of years, Vacuous Pop, Jonson Family, Noisestar and Unlabel. Thanks a lot to our friends in Reynolds, Stanton, Princess Headbutt, Edmund Fitzgerald, Joeyfat and Cove. And most of all thanks to everyone who came to our shows. Nice one."

DiS wishes the band members all the best in their future projects.
