It's OK, not everyone is drinking warm beer and getting wet. There's plenty to do!

Well, well, well. As you're reading this, it's more than likely that you've not made the trek to the Rivermead Centre or indeed Bramham Park for the weekend and, as such, you're totally bummed, mildly bored or actually quite glad not to be attending.

Well, we're never ones to poop out at DiS, and while many of our team are out doing the Reading and Leeds work for us, some are still hanging in the DiSopolis. And yes, we are drinking beer.

We've a little round-up here of stuff to do - outside or in - so that the jealousy/boredom/whatever doesn't get to you too much.

Indoors!

Outdoors!

  • Come and catch everyone's favourite disc jockey - DJ CrabbyCrab - rockin' the second stage at this weekend's Get Loaded in the Park event, Clapham Common, Sunday. 5-7pm
  • Non-Carling event au choix = this
  • In London tonight? Well, mint!
  • Not in London at all? There's plenty of gigs to choose from: click here

Get Loaded!

I've 'done' that - we have SO much to talk about Lolin!

i thought you were at Reading?

That is

a good cover!

who HAS been manning the site all day?

you've been probably Lolling round the office like everyone else getting excited about the weekend - anyway why aren't YOU at Reading?

oh dear god no

shit, no, no, no AAAHHHHHHHHHH.

*pukes*-i don't tihnk i've ever seen a worse cover/nor do i ever want to.not only that, i know people who will say thats good (feels ill, again).

what i'd like to know, is how you found that????

I'm 24 years old...

...and I'm still not beyond feeling sick in my stomach cause the 'girl whose ass i want a piece of'* is at Leeds among the indie kids and I am not.

Still, may as well go and trawl YouTube for various Vic & Bob moments. The Plum-turning Bang! Bang! opening should suffice, anyone seen it anywhere...

*denotes attempt to sound chauvinistic to hide actual feelings about this problem

aaw

*administers a manly, completely heterosexual slap to the back style hug of commiseration*

Jeremy Warmsley

And on Saturday if your down Oxford way you can come and see Jeremy Warmsley + Francois + From The Shards of Comets + loads more at an all dayer @ the Port Mahon, Oxford!

See http://www.myspace.com/myanalognet for more info/tickets

Frankly...

...you should go to that cause Shards are playing, and their singer is very very very fancy.
