.

regneration and absent friends are pretty good.. for the grand strings/big sound

if you want them for their silly songs (national express) then get fin de siecle

Definitely worth checking out.

I'd go for the earlier stuff.

"Casanova" is their most accessible album. And I'd then work from ther.

Their best of "The Secret History" is also a good introduction.

I'm less keen on "Regeneration" and "Absent Friends". I think their earlier albums are better.

thanks

I didnt realise how extensive their back catalouge was untill now! Frankly its a little bit intimidating.

It's worth persisitng.

At their best I think they're one of the best bands of recent years.

Casanova for sure.

it's wonderful. of the newer stuff, i think Regeneration is actually pretty great too.

songs of love - best tv show theme ever

i really should find out more about the divine comedy. they wrote 'my lovely horse' too.
