thats what i thought

but some of my friends make it into a big deal. I always thought it was just a nice thing to do for someone if you have a bit of spare time on your hands. Just making one now actually and getting a bit paranoid because the last one i made for someone didnt go down too well...

it's a lovely thing to do

tell whoever disagrees to fuck off

no, you freak!

yes

I used to do it alllllll the time.

when I had friends.

Yes

Making friends for mix cds is also valid.

I do it all the time.

However; only the special special people get special special mixtapes.

Yeah

My friends have asked me for loads recently so I am making some.

I used to make them for friends

and the following happened:
they got lost (by friends)!
they didn't even thank me!
they didn't get listened to for WEEEEEEKS (this often happened)!
they didn't give me any feedback. Bad!

the wrong reasons being

''Helen, I'm going for a long drive soon. Would you make me a mixtape please?''

honestly, some people!

well if they asked thats different

you didnt say they asked

and yes, some people are poop

Surely if anyone asks you for a mix tape

for any reason, its a compliment ?

It's brilliant.

I should do it more, actually.

I spent the best part of...

today putting together a mixtape and doing the artwork for someone. It twas fun...I just hope they appreciate it :o)

I'll only make you one if...

I'm guaranteed one made by your very own hands. Is that a deal?

deal

and i wont just burn another copy of one of the ones i made today. im pretty sure i said i would make you one months ago anyway

:oD

I'm going to get started NOW!

oh yeah

i was supposed to make you one, i will do it this week GEMMA.

i was thinking of wearing that outfit actually

the shorts show off my legs nicely

*Faints*

hands off

!

Oh, you've probably...

won him over in that dashing cow suit anyway. How can I compete against that, eh?

well if your mix cd for me is good enough

you may just edge in front...

I always worry

that I am overdo-ing it and imposing my musical tastes on folk.

For about a second...

wut?

why do people object to you making them PRESENTS? PRESENTS full of yummy musicy goodness? weirdoes.

haha

it's okay, i know you don't like THE MAGIC NUMBERS anymore :P

and also

yes. the first one i made was quite hideous.

I made

mixtapes for some of my close friends last christmas as extra presents. I think only 2 of them really appreciated it though, which makes me a bit sad. :(

true fact :)

i'll send you the tracklisting sometime, so you can CRY with SHAME

(most of it is pretty good actually :D don't commit suicide just yet...)

nah

there was at least four or five things that were so amazing that even if the rest of it had been james blunt, it would still have been a good mixtape :D

really?

Like wut?

i'm not in edinburgh just now

or i'd look, but there is (lots of) GIL SCOTT HERON, and SQUEEZE, and that rather amazing enya/prodigy mash up

: )

I just surprised you could read my hand writing.

compared to el deservo's
