System Of A Down will play a handful of summertime dates to support the release of two albums in 2005.

The first, Mesmerize, comes out in April, followed by Hypnotize later in the year (we're guessing October - don't hold us to it).

Dates are as follows:

June
3 London Brixton Academy
14 Manchester Evening News Arena
15 Glasgow SECC

Don't rule out a Reading slot, either...

saw them opening for metallica at leeds festival when the barrier broke the other year
really good live band



(well cept for the injured people anyway)

I hate to sound like a stuck record here but Birmingham?

They are ace live though. I would travel to Manchester but the standing tickets have already sold out. How very very very annoying

Birmingham happens when they announce 4 cities
It is the 4th city of the UK after all

errr, if you're putting it behind the capitals of the respective 'bits', it'd be 5th. it's ahead of that cultural void, manchester.

but i hear MEN is actually an alright venue.
and can brumites seriously not make it up or down? not that much to ask.

MEN's one of the best arena's i've been too, but it's an arena
press tickets are stage right so I got to see Busted from 5 yards away
which was dead good

when bands tour...
1 date - london
2 dates - london, manchester
3 dates - london manchester, glasgow
4 dates - london manchester, glasgow, birmingham

spot on raz. luckily i live close enough to manchester to catch bands if they play there and not here. i was very impressed with the listings of the hives tour in april as there is no manchester or london date and they're playing liverpool instead! hurrah! i feel sorry for the people in the north east though.
