Just kidding. I went to Cirencester Deer Park (famous pupils = zero). The kids that went to Dean Close were alternately the subjects of envy and ridicule...
I knew Cozy Powell was from Cirencester, but wasn't sure whether he'd gone to Deer Park. Supose there wasn't really anywhere else to go back then. The (s)wanky new website www.deerparkschool.net doesn't seem to have a Famous Pupils page, so I'm guessing he the only one.
Needless to say all the chavs started chucking tomatos at the poor bugger. I mean, its not his fault he has no foreskin is it? Salisbury High School (formerly known as Westwood St Thomas) has had no-one famous go to it at all I'm 'fraid...except from me
and more but to say most people are worthy of ridicule is ,quite frankly, ridiculous. I mean tower, at least in our years, doesn't have a bad guy in it.
chill out henry i was being ironic. he has to be one of the most unpopular people that ever went to that school. and yeah i was probably being a little over the top saying 'most'. but people like the above stated made me hate that school sometimes...
and found out that Monty Panesar, the sikh guy who's playing for england at cricket who's been making loads of headlines recently as a result, went to my school, in the year above me.
well i never.
john sessions went there, but i'm not sure how accurate that is - he either only went there for a year, or he went to the other boy's school in town, i forget which..
Arthur C. Clark, a British author and inventor.
Andy Robinson, the headcoach of the England national rugby union team.

not only did he write 2001: A Space Odyssey (and loads of other ace books), he also basically invented the concept of a communications satellite...
"It is interesting to note that the original design for the school's renovation was rejected, as it transpired that in an aerial shot the school would resemble a large phallus."
Haha, you posho.
Just kidding. I went to Cirencester Deer Park (famous pupils = zero). The kids that went to Dean Close were alternately the subjects of envy and ridicule...
