Haha, you posho.

Just kidding. I went to Cirencester Deer Park (famous pupils = zero). The kids that went to Dean Close were alternately the subjects of envy and ridicule...

dont worry

most people there are worthy of ridicule.

I went to Deer Park!

As did nice_squirrel. Do I know you?

And Cozy Powell went to Deer Park, apparently.

Don't think we've met... I don't recognise your name or photo.

(I'm Joe Mahon, 1992-1997)

I knew Cozy Powell was from Cirencester, but wasn't sure whether he'd gone to Deer Park. Supose there wasn't really anywhere else to go back then. The (s)wanky new website www.deerparkschool.net doesn't seem to have a Famous Pupils page, so I'm guessing he the only one.

'es dead.

Beatles innit

Stuart Sutcliff and Sheila Grant from Brookside went to my school.
And the knobend from The Zutons as well

he/she presented cbeebies and then went to school with you?

i dont know if i can beat that
*WINKYFACE*

john oster went to mine

bit crap aint it?

mr Mcolclough

former england rugby player and died a few months back went to mine. Also, the 100th soldier to die in iraq went to my sister school. RIP to both

The Pope went to mine...

Needless to say all the chavs started chucking tomatos at the poor bugger. I mean, its not his fault he has no foreskin is it? Salisbury High School (formerly known as Westwood St Thomas) has had no-one famous go to it at all I'm 'fraid...except from me

anthea turner went to mine

but left after a few years because she was bullied, apparently.

you don't fool me with your 'apparently'

you cruel bastard

William Hague

supposedly went to my school as well.

hmm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bellemoor_School

the last sentence of mine is very odd. certainly not a good advertisement. who on earth could have put it there?!?

Because of wikipedia

i found out what necrophilia really is...

Fuck off louise

Dc is a great school. Who are the few people not worthy of ridicule then?

I think the uy from killing joke went there. Strike two for it's rock history.

what?

you mean you LIKE ryan hill?
should've guessed really...

Well of course there's idiots like him and aco and francis

and more but to say most people are worthy of ridicule is ,quite frankly, ridiculous. I mean tower, at least in our years, doesn't have a bad guy in it.

And what the fuck

Do you mean by 'should've guessed'?

...

chill out henry i was being ironic. he has to be one of the most unpopular people that ever went to that school. and yeah i was probably being a little over the top saying 'most'. but people like the above stated made me hate that school sometimes...

i have just looked up my school

and found out that Monty Panesar, the sikh guy who's playing for england at cricket who's been making loads of headlines recently as a result, went to my school, in the year above me.
well i never.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedford_Modern_School

it also says

john sessions went there, but i'm not sure how accurate that is - he either only went there for a year, or he went to the other boy's school in town, i forget which..

Well here's my Secondary

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acland_burghley_school

It wasn't many more boys than girls in my day.

It's not one of the best schools, though. Or wasn't.

Andrew Loog Oldham

Went to my school.

He was in the worst house. Garnes. Only losers were in that house.

Supposedly famous...

My College boasts these 'famous' people...

Arthur C. Clark, a British author and inventor.
Andy Robinson, the headcoach of the England national rugby union team.
Andrew Castle, former British number one tennis player and television presenter.
Keith Parsons, cricketer.

Know any of them? Neither do I.

There is no Wikipedia

site for my school but the only semi-famous person that I know that went to it is Chris Brunt, the Sheffield Wednesday left winger.

He's really good

on Football Manager.

you don't know arthur c clark?

oh man.
not only did he write 2001: A Space Odyssey (and loads of other ace books), he also basically invented the concept of a communications satellite...

Indeed...

The College in the back of beyond

I went there

I didn't know Andrew Castle went there, cooool.

he does some of the commentary

at wimbledon.

Apparently he attended Millfield though... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Castle

It was sarcastic 'cooool' to be honest.

Ha

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hastingsbury_Upper_School_and_Community_College

I like the bit about "around 1 initiatives"

Awful school. Really terrible.

Paula Radcliffe went to mine.

Although some years after I had left.

bill oddie!

it's a healthy school though!!!

i used to go past it on the bus home sometimes. everyone there looked like propa kempston thugs innit.

hahahaha

This is on the entry for my college

"It is interesting to note that the original design for the school's renovation was rejected, as it transpired that in an aerial shot the school would resemble a large phallus."

ah yes.

george bernard shaw went to my school! i knew there was someone else. :)

oh and some irish international rugby players.

Mine isn't on wiki

It's named after an old bishop of durham and everything!

my school isn't on wikipedia

but GERMLIN went there. wowzer.

I've just discovered that The Rezillos went to my uni though. ACE.

Richard Hammond went to mine

I'm suitably wowed by that

Brian May went to my school

AND he's a governor now AND he came into my Latin lesson and asked me what texts we were doing.

Brian Molko
