Right! Hmm... Starlight. I’m not quite sure who decided to release this as a single, but either way, Warner’s Marketing Department need a right kick up the arse. A polemic love song, “I don’t know if it’s worth it any more / I just want to hold you in my arms”, Starlight is slow and somewhat mellow to the band’s previous offering, Supermassive Black Hole. Pages upon pages of bland piano riffs, a somewhat drab guitar part and erm, Happy Clappers. Roll on Knights of Cydonia, please.
