BAD SEED VIRGIN

After hearing "Nocturama", I can't wait for the new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds album, they're playing live soon, I'm planning to go but I've never seen them live....what can I expect???

    I've lost count of the number of times I've seen them since the very first time I saw them ('87? '88?). They've never dissapointed - they are a unique and peerless live act. Of course, I'm biased, having been a long-time fan, and a good familiarity with their extensive back catalogue helps, I'm sure. But, anyway, whatever...GO AND SEE THEM!

      Never seen them live. But if you like the Bad seeds check out Barry Adamson's (EX Bad Seed) instrumental stuff (best one is Mosside Story)...it is really powerful

        I heard them on Radio 2 as well, I'm going to Manchester on the 8th, at the Apollo..my favourite venue!! Have you heard anything about the new album??

          It's a double album called "Abattoir Blues / The Lyre Of Orpheus", out next month. Haven't heard it but there are a few MP3s up on his website. I heard the new single for the first time on Xfm last night - very catchy!
