It's probably the most obvious one, but...
When he sings "Hurt", it sounds like it could have been written by him. It suits him perfectly and the way he did it sounds brilliant.
Johnny Cash is overrated.

Cash is a little overrated
but Hurt is so utterly perfect an that's his lasting image. Talk about ending of a fucking high. Best song of his career possibly, although circumstance has a lot to do with it.
