These three new songs from epic rock upstars The Dopamine Theory pick up nicely from where the previous three - reviewed elsewhere on these pages - left off. Each is big of riff and strong in quality - opener 'Scaramanga's Prey' accurately apes Faith No More's more accessible moments. Well, retract 'apes', as whilst TDT are clearly indebted to a number of glossy rock outfits of the past, they've a foot on the future, too.

Okay, so it's more of a toe: there's the faintest of Lostprophet whiffs about 'The Wrong, The Right', but it's hardly enough to detract from the progressive rock that dominates. And that's perhaps TDT's USP, for the moment at least: they're not playing with post-hardcore tricks, or ripping off rap-metal artists with budgets bigger than brains. All they're doing is rocking, well, and in time they'll hit paydirt.

One feels that time is all but upon us.
