T in the Park, which takes place
9-10 July, has officially sold out. Those who were lucky / quick / rich / wise enough to get tickets will be feasting their eyes on the brilliance of
Foo Fighters and
Green Day, who will both be headlining the gig.
This sell-out has been a record-setter for the Scottish festival. Last year it took until 10 weeks before the concert for tickets to disappear but this year it's happened five months before hand.

Regarding the eBay point above, it's part of the issue but not all. Looking there now, I'd guess about 1000 tickets are on there (421 auctions)... maybe 1500. Out of the total it's a small but significant percentage, but the rest are still presumably bought by people that want to go. I think the eBay thing puts fear into people so they buy quick to avoid it.
I'm going to buy Reading as soon as it's on sale because I know it will have sold out before I can make up my mind on the full bill. 4 out of the last 5 years, the bill was more than good enough for me. If this is a bad year, I'll sell them again... at face value.
