Artists: Oasis

See, sometimes we jump the gun a little. This run-through of tracks making up Oasis' Stop The Clocks best-of isn't actually accurate. So, um, sorry.

Below is the official, from the horse's mouth if you will, tracklisting. Enjoy...

'Rock n Roll Star'
'Some Might Say'
'Talk Tonight'
'Lyla'
'The Importance of Being Idle'
'Wonderwall'
'Slide Away'
'Cigarettes & Alcohol'
'The Masterplan'
'Live Forever'
'Acquiesce'
'Supersonic'
'Half The World Away'
'Go Let It Out'
'Songbird'
'Morning Glory'
'Champagne Supernova'
'Don’t Look Back In Anger'

Stop The Clocks is released on November 20. The band will begin working on new material shortly after its release.

it pisses me off

when best of's aren't in chronalogical order.

luckily i dont like oasis so i wont get it anyway.

don't they know when to stop?

no 'underneath the sky', no 'what's the story?', no 'columbia'.
crazy.

no Stand By Me?

I'm joking by the way.

stand by me!

when i was 17 i thought it was amazing. when i was 17

That is indeed

a great movie!

What a terrible terrible band

Much as they might deny it, it's a wonderful sign they're finally winding down to give up.

Oasis best of - definitive tracklisting

1. Rock 'n' Roll Star
2. Shakermaker
3. Live Forever
4. Up In The Sky
5. Columbia
6. Supersonic
7. Bring It On Down

why do I get the feeling we've been here before...?

http://www.drownedinsound.com/content/view/1043654

oh, that's why.

i think Oasis has doomed the DiS boards to the same Groundhog Day that plagues their music.

And...

An entire thread of whiners on the original article are (marginally) silenced...

Oasis..

Did a lot of drinking
Did a load of drugs
Made some classic anthems
Shagged a load of fit women
Sold a load of albums
Played some historic Gigs
And made a load of money in the process

It may not be art or clever but its fucking rock and roll so it gets my vote.

there are about four tracks

that are post-1996.
why do this band still exist?

hmmm

theyre 'surprise guests' at the nme.com 10 year thing......

sure that will be a treat. Oasis , kasabian.....(dangerous testosterone (sp?) levels ahoy#!) but before that CSS....and before that the MIGHTY! my device.....good old shifty disco....

hmm.....
those are my thoughts

it says a lot

that there's way more early b-sides on there than later singles.

If only Liam and Noel had somehow killed each other in a Chuckle Brothers style slapstick incident before Be Here Now they would be legends and not increasingly irrelevent old men.

i always wondered

why such supposed hard-men made music that was so wet behind the ears...?

ooohhhh god

Please stop posting news about oasis, no one cares and the ones that do don't matter.

hmmm

more than half of the record is from before 1997.

Anyone else think they would be better off just re-packaging Definitely Maybe, Morning Glory, and The Masterplan, as a triple album for a tenner?

You know I'm right.

Be Here Now

I thought the band liked that album?

And where the hell is Whatever anyway?

Wouldn't the real best of Oasis

just be 'Rock 'n' Roll Star' on repeat as you pull out onto the motorway, over and over again, forever?

Hoping

that someone will end your life asap.
