There was that freak with the blue eyes, the one called Ape or something who was as thick as shit, the "bad boy" of the band with tattooes, piercings and a rude haircut and one who would up as a flight attendant.

I think i must have gone to see rootjoose about 15 times. They must have been the only band allowed to play in cornwall in 1997. Mr Fixit was a gem. EYC, now there's a pop sensation!!

Two thirds - I remember they were billed as the "gay" boy band cos all the members were gay and actually were willing to say so and so their record company thought this would be a good USP. Cant remember any of their songs though.
Let Loose were funny. I remember reading about their guitarist standing up in a pub and doing an impromptu jam/ fretwank soloing exhibition to prove how "real" they were as a band. Plus their drummer used to do that annoying "twirling the drumstick in his hand" beofre every downbeat on one of their songs.
What about North and South? Maybe the precursors to Busted with their "punk" sound and green and blue hair. Their big single was "Im a man not a boy". Ho
Others: Upside Down - I remember the brilliant BBC documentary about them.
Worlds Apart - Saw one of them working as a trolley dolly on a Virgin Atlantic flight I was on.

I remember A1 - have an unpleasant story about them from my Sony days.
I remember they tried to have some "cred" for getting one of them to play Guitar - except you could see beads of sweat forming on his face through intense concentration...so it really wasn't convincing.
