what a

legend!

can't wait to see him in cheltenham!!

this new (to me) song is better than some of the old stuff

certainly.
the sounds a bit wack and i keep expecting massive distorted bass to kick in

vital signs its called.

hahahah

slow folk version of I Want To Break Free anyone?

....

a lot better than i expected.
first song was really good.

richard hawley:

some horrible middle of the road shit going on here, yes?

And yet

i love it. Although i guess it's mostly for Cole's Corner and Baby You're My Light.

BUT LAMACQ JUST PLAYED HOGGBOY.
Hence i am officially much happier than i was five minutes ago.

Hoggboy?!?!

I used to listen to them, like...4 years ago!!!

i know!!

He used to play them a LOT when they released those first few singles.

That is AWESOME!

I used to listen to Steve every night through high school. I used to love all that stuff. Hoggboy, Ikara Colt...ah, the memories.

I'll need to download some of their stuff. I remember two of the singles, but haven't got the foggiest about what they sounded like.

were they

So Young and Shouldn't Let The Side Down?

And i still love Ikara Colt. That's probably my favourite Lamacq Live memory, hearing 'Sink Venice' for the first time...thanks for reminding me!

i should listen to the radio more

i've just realised this too late

Me too

I missed him on saturday too. I have no idea what I was doing instead.

Yeah i am really going to miss this show

been listening for over six years, the documentaries are particularly good as i am re-realising right now. And it's the first place i heard full live sets by bands i actually like (the first one i ever heard was by Super Furry Animals...)

bye lamo live :(
