Embrace to split after next album... probably

Embrace are apparently to call time on their music career once the five-piece's next album is recorded.
Singer, after a fashion, Danny McNamara spoke to BBC 6Music:
"I think our next album will be our last ever album. If we get as far as making it and finishing it, I want it to be a masterpiece and I want to take as long as it takes.
"We've worked solidly since I was 17 - that's half my life - and I've done nothing except look at the bigger picture.
"I haven't stopped to smell the flowers along the way at all. I spend all my time cooking and not eating and I just want to spend a bit of time doing that."
This news makes Michael feel a bit gooey inside. That said, I did have a McDonald's bagel on the way in today. Never. Again.

Maybe some time attempting to write music of some/any worth whatsoever might be a better use of this man's time, rather than just making loads of food and throwing it away. I mean, there are people starving all over the world. What would Geldof say, man?

an experimental and legendary post hardcore band like ian mackaye did when his band embrace broke up. highly unlikely but here is to wishing.
