oh yeah, whoops. well he may written the sublime 'gimme indie rock' but when it comes to comparing his fellow Bostonian bands- Lou Barlow doesn't know shit.

Well when I saw the Pixes at Brixton last year my overwhelming emotion was disappointment at these 4 cardboard cut outs that could have been miming to Pixies songs for all I could tell, followed by pain in my ribs (4,000 people pushing forwards against an immovable metal object with me the only thing in between). When I saw Dino Jr years ago in Cambridge the overwhelming emotion was pain, in my ears. Followed by not being able to make out what they were playing.

The Pixies were my favourite band for, like 7 or 8 years of my life, but meh. I'm hoping J et all make more of an effort. But really I'm just waiting for the Breeders to play again, even if they will play cannonball, which makes me want to strangle people nowadays.

God I'm such a curmudgeonly old git, innit.

So how much will my original 7" of Freak Scene be worth now?
