Sigur Ros set off round Europe

Sonic saviours, Sigur Ros, are to embark on a short European tour, taking in one English and one Scottish date.
Those dates are:
July
08 - Glasgow academy,
09 - Manchester lowry theatre,
12 - Paris olympia,
13 - Amsterdam paradiso,
14 - Brussels cirque royal,
16 - Copenhagen vega main hall,
17 - Hamburg stadtpark,
19 - Frankfurt jahrhunderthalle,
20 - Berlin columbiahalle,
22 - Munchen circus krone,
25 - Roma cavea auditorium,
26 - Milano villa arconati,
31 - fuji rock festival, japan
No news on a new LP yet...

L'Olympia is such a bad place for gig like that.

The worst problem with this kind of gig in Paris is not that there'll be french ( which could be quite normal ) but that there'll be a lot of snobs that can make a gig really bad !

Anyone in London hankering for the live Sigur Rós sound should check out the Swedish band Audrey next week.
They're supporting José González on a few of his UK shows, then headline the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon on Saturday the 30th.

Strangely I downloaded this band this morning as they came up as "if you like jeniferever, try this..." so will check them out in a mo.
