Tomorrow, you can see some excellent singer songwriters at the Adam and Eve including Elaine Croft, Giovanna Olvera, Tom Kerswill, Liz James and Jezz Hall, and then go on to the Medicine Bar to see Goodbooks and the superb Fields.

The legendary Nightingales are at Jug Of Ale on Tuesday.

I'll be doing neither of those things

and will be headed to the Flapper and Firkin for Settlefish et. al.

The Fall

Next Sunday at the Custard Factory.

Well, its nearly 'this week'.

Indeed

That's next week's gig of the week.

as

will i.

There is also

Hot Chip on Tuesday and Sparklehorse on Wednesday

wow

there's a positive slew of Birmingham residents appearing nowadays.

I'm at the Settlefish gig, obviously, but would recommend everyone else to come too. I wasn't aware of Hot Chip on Tuesday though, where?

Randomly

at the irish centre, it might create a cool school disco vibe

Catapult Club?

I'm guessing there'll be little on the door availability as the Academy 2 gig pre-Mercury was pretty rammed.

I'm in need of something to do next Saturday

can someone make me a recommendation please?

I mean gig-wise

obviously...

THE FALL

Medicine Bar

That's on Sunday

according to the post above.

i just had a look around

and to be honest, next Saturday looks pretty goddawful for gigs.

I assume

you're not including the God's Own Prototypes gig in the statement!

i try to keep my JAGing to one a day

:)

All the usual nights elsewhere look to be convoluted with extremely dull pubrock standard indie though. Or Corinne Bailey Rae.

I was planning to see Blakfish and Meet Me In St Louis

but that's been cancelled. Oh well, tomorrow night should be fun.

Blakfish are playing in November though

aren't they?

not too far away.

Today, of course, is another day

so,

GodsOwnPrototypes + 2 more
The Red Lion, Hockley (Jewellery Quarter)
Birmingham

Saturday 14th, 8pm
£3

All who came Monday enjoy the bands?

I read Sunday!!

What you do is go to the gigs page and click on each of the bands' names to be directed to the myspace page where you can listen and see if anything interests you - that is the whole point of the page.
