Nottingham-based electro-indie-dance (or something) duo I Was A Cub Scout have announced details of their new single.
'Pink Squares' is to be released via Abeano - that's a fairly new imprint of XL, y'know - on November 27.

(well, this year).
Penistone?
.
Wow, living in Leicester is paying off!
Oh god.
Don't play the Bivouac fellas. I used to live in Lincoln and you're gig will probably be attended by four people.
But yeah, IWACS are bludey marvelous.
The drummer,
Will, is actually from Lincoln and has played the Biv quite a few times, with a decent crowd turning up every time. So I can guarantee more than 4 people turning up, especially with the hype surrounding them at the moment - and the fact that have a pretty loyal fanbase here in Lincoln.
I stand corrected said the man in the orthapedic shoes.
I haven't lived their for a long time now so excuse my ignorance. The gigs I frequented their were always poorly attended... Except the time thisGirl played actually.
In any other case
I'd agree with you man. Lincoln plays host to some pretty terrible bands, especially at the Biv. I myself have played there, to a room of about 8 people. But usually when a decent band turns up, so does a crowd.
i think

they may be playing in London, too...

Penistone is a bit of a dump just outside Sheffield. I would love to see them play there but unfortunately I am in Scotland where there are no dates at all. Woe is me. I love these boys.
