Mad crazy brilliant band The Mystery Jets release their second single ‘On My Feet’ through Good & Evil on 6th June. In a clever chart-style the single will be released on two formats staggered over two consecutive weeks. Starting with a 7” followed by a CD. Both formats will include exclusive recordings.

‘On My Feet’ will be the first release on Good and Evil an imprint of 679 recordings set up by producer and DJ Paul Epworth.

The Mystery Jets will be supporting The Futureheads on their forthcoming tour before heading out for their own headline dates.

Hurrah! All should love the mystery jets. And on my feet has a rather sexy bit of Latin in it.

no it doesnt.
it does have some sexy quasi-shakespeare, but no latin.


i may actually get On My Feet tattooed On My Feet. or at least on my foot. cos i love it hard.

I don't think the Cardiff date is with the futureheads...
It was listed as a MJ headline gig on a flyer I was given, and I can't imagine a band as big as the futureheads playing at the barfly.

the song "anno's italy" has the lines "vene vide morte, cognito ergo sum" or suchlike. on my feet is just "you get me on my feet so tomorrow never comes, all our yesteryears will be erased". oh actually, theyve added a bunch more vocals just recently, and some may be in latin.

I had really high hopes for them then saw them support The Futureheads. Turned out to be really bad prog, I was really disappointed.

I was high when I saw them support Bloc Party then when I saw the Futureheads and Sons and Daughters were supporting I was really disappointed.

the leeds gig isn't at the Met anymore, it's been moved to Leeds University's Great Hall/Refectory or something like that
