Top Shop boss bags Destiny's Child for kid's party

Top Shop and BHS owner Philip Green has splashed out some four million quid to get Destiny's Child to perform at his son's bar mitzvah.

The girls will perform on the second night of the family's three-day celebration. Opera star Andrea Bocelli performs on the first night. A brand-new synagogue has been built for the occasion.

Green previously spent £5 million on his wife's 50th birthday party, with Tom Jones and Rod Stewart performing. He is worth around £4.85 billion.

He supposedly paid Justin Timberlake to play at this bar mitzvah too. I think he was meant to be getting $1,000,000. Sadly his voice is fucked, so he might have to mime!

Nice to see someone who can spend $50 properly. None of this 'feed the children, feed the children" rubbish.

If you can't tell i'm being sarcastic. I think it's disgusting that people spend such huge amounts so unessecarily. I mean fine, spend $5 mil or something, have a good bash and be done.

Philip Green

I met him when I worked in the vintage section in,uhm,topshop on oxford street. Yes, sad but true. I tried to makes eyes at him, but proberly looked like I had some kind of twitch :(
