Artists: High On Fire

Much-acclaimed metal crew High On Fire return to the UK in June for a brief jaunt about our green and pleasant lands. Expect said lands to be somewhat blacker once Matt Pike and co are done with them.

The tour is sponsored by rock sound magazine, one of many publications to say nice things about the trio's last album, Blessed Black Wings. Dates:

I'm not really pro anything - if it's good, I tend to want to write about it.
Simple as that, really.
High On Fire are an amazing live band. Worth seeing even if you're not usually into metal.

Never really got into High on Fire. I've never understood what the fuss was about them as to me they sounded like a second rate Celtic Frost. Matt Pikes old band, Sleep were far better.

my big tip for metal in 2005 is the return of Opeth
