Agent Blue have replaced them on the remaining "the music" tour dates. last of which is tonight.

The guy's obviously pretty unwell, the least you lot could do is play nice.

Alp illness update
Bad news I'm afriaid, Sam is still extremely ill. The diagnosis is Mumps, and following doctors orders we are having to take three weeks off to allow him to recover. Therefore I'm sorry to say that we won't be on the NME Rizla Tour and all the planned instore gigs have been cancelled. The Germany tour with Maximo Park has also been cancelled. The next single, 'Not Everyone', will be released as planned on Monday 23rd, the Album may be delayed. We hope to be back in action the week of 6th June in time for the Isle of Wight Festival and the Camden Barfly gig. Again, we're really sorry but it's a frustrating time and there's nothing we can do. Stay tuned for updates, see youz all soon.

Oh and marcofella, saying "I've seen this bunch of lame retards live! They need to get themsleves out of a bloody timewarp, learn how to write songs, learn HOW to keep it tight live" Thats not deserved. They might be different to the current suit wearing public shcool boy cunts who dominate the scene at the moment but thats good- its refreshing. They also 'keep it tight' but thats a phrase they would probably laugh at. They aim to make noisy scratchy feedback filled melodic tunes.

I've seen them three times, and they get better each time. They only recently played their 100th gig for fucks sake. The songs are great ranging from angst spiky 'cosmopolitan' to the excellent slower 'attraction' and 'string me along'.

I'm not really a fan but they are good lads and working fucking hard to get over general indie snobbery like much of the above - so get well soon Sam!

Massive disappointment. I'm going to see the nme tour in Portsmouth and was really looking forward to seeing them. That marcofella doesn't know what he's on about. I see he recently posted on the "biggest twat on DIS" thing. Something tells me he'll be featuring heavily on that.....

I quite like NBA (from the tracks I've managed to download and hear on the radio), though i haven't been able to see the live yet. Was going to buy the album, though lots of people appear to be giving it one hell of a spanking.

Is the complaint just that they are un-original and scruffy? because I don't consider either of these to be an entierly undesirable characteristic in a band. (originality is nice, but sometimes obvious influences aren't a problem)

All bands have off nights...when I've seen them they have been tight and messy, which is good. The Clash were similar(whoops given my age away)
