Songs from 'Don't Believe The Truth' will be played throughout the day and Noel Gallagher will be doing a sleb chat with Jo Whiley.
Steve Lamacq will finish off the night with a Lamacq Live Special, broadcasting the headline set from the band at London's Clapham Grand.
Once again, DiS now urges the BBC to give us a call. We can set this right.

If there is future strike action, can we look forward to 'Tribute to Eric Clapton Day'? It's like Oasis are now the stop-gap measure to appease some of the masses. It's like dragging Cliff richard out for another Christmas special.

Plea to BBC workers - If you have any compassion for your fellow man, please don't strike. An Oasis day is more than anything anyone should be put through.
The thought of it going into a second day (or "The Killers" day as the BBC might term it) is more than anyone should be subjected to

Judging by the tone of this news item and the majority of news items about Oasis on DiS, I look forward to the imminent review of Oasis' new album with relish as I can tell it's gonna be fair, unbiased and entirely objective and not in the least bit snide, humourless and prententious. Cheers. See you at Madison Square Garden, folks.

Indeed, it's a testament to Oasis' enduring MOR-ness that BBC radio can wheel out any old Oasis-related bullshit designed to pad out the schedules and be assured that listeners will barely notice the transition - not least, due to the sheer quantity of material.

and the new album rocks...... not that I'd know........
I agree with the statement about the review on DiS going to be 'snide, humourless and pretentious' but then, who'd expect any less
and pitchfork's will definitely be worse...............

You must have ears made of cloth if you cannot hear how great oasis are! The new album is fantastic. I expect you all listen to depressing bands like coldplay. Lay off oasis!!! You obviously don't know a great band when you hear one.
