they were ok at Reading - need to hear more from them.

never heard of them before they where rather good (mint).
I saw half of their set at the joiners once

it soaked through my mac. Thank god for the dry corner of The Barn, I say.
But they were, and indeed are, ace, and I have one of the limited edition cassette singles of Walk With Me, and eBay, you're not having it. I really want to hear what the spangly version of Leni sounds like.
i've now seen them twice
and i'm a bit unsure. i really enjoyed their gigs but i don't think i'd ever bother buying anything by them...
I like them but...
Whilst "Walk With Me" is great, they've got a nice onstage presence about them and I find Max a likable guy, I do think things are moving a little fast for them.
Based on seeing them live, they don't have that many great songs yet (although I do think they have the potential to do so) and I think there's a danger of being one of these bands that releases an album before they're ready and then get written off a little on the strength of it - which would be a real shame.
I hope the record company (Universal isn't it?) gives the time they need to write songs up to their full potential.
