Wilson to SMiLE again this summer

Brian Wilson returns to the UK this summer to play a series of concerts.

Wilson will be supported by The Magic Numbers, whose self-titled debut album was released this month. A two-disc DVD of Wilson's much-acclaimed SMiLE is also imminent, featuring footage of the world premiere of the album as performed in London in 2004.

Maybe it should be pointed out that he won't be playing "smile" in its whole, just the hits.

I saw a Beach Boys biopic on Channel 5 the other day. Wilson was played by a v. hairy David Arquette. I think. It was mildly pant-wetting.

i saw the SMiLE tour. it was awesome. very surreal seeing brian wilson about 20 feet in front of me, and even more surreal to know that he was in portsmouth....

I have SMiLE, and I swear I can't even listen to it once all the way through....

Pet Sounds was better. In fact, Pet Sounds Live was ace. If I were to watch Wilson live, I'd sure how that he play more Pet Sounds than SMiLE.

And 60 quid is a bit of a rip.

Especially when he's playing at Glastonbury which cost little more than double that (£125).
