dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

I'll have some of that!!

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

awesome. My favourite ever band

(from Belgium)

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

excellent news...

saw them in Manchester last November (with Mauro from the Evil Superstars on guitar no less) and the new songs sounded amazing.

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

I loved dEUS but can we honestly expect them to still be awesome after all these years out and line-up changes etc etc? I'm always cynical about 'comebacks'. I sincerely hope they don't embarrass themselves.

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

They are still awesome, as anyone who saw their comeback shows at the end of last year will attest. Still my favourite band in the World, anyway.

I actually can't express how happy I am. :-)

Re: dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

I saw the shows, and you're right! They *are* still the aceiest band in the world! Fact!!

Friday! Friday! Friday! Friday! Friday! Friday!

Re: dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

oh yes they are!! i saw them in fribourg.
i really love dEUS

And there's always something in the air...

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

I've gotta say I am a little nervous - saw them at the Mean Fiddler last year and thought they sounded good, but the new songs didn't impress me - perhaps it was just the fact that they were new to my ears.

But I love them so, and I know that they are excellent songwriters so I am excited.

Tom Barman = dude.

"In A Bar Under The Sea" is a timeless record. The prequel is also a fine lp. "The Ideal Crash" was a bit shite.

I agree with Ich Bin and am a little wary of the time that has elapsed and the line up changes over recent years. I saw them in 1996 and they blew me away.

Hotel Lounge (long live version) is one of my favourite songs of all time

Lets keep the fingers crossed!

Re: dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

you think TIC was crap? i think it is a masterpiece of art!

i'm sure "pocket revolution" won't disappoint us :)

gimme the heat is definitely one of my favourite songs, and there are a lot more.

dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

All their albums are wicked, just in different ways.

OH YEAH - while we're on a dEUSy subject:

What's the b-side with the ace guitar riff where it stops in the middle and someone says "Sam, Sam, Sam, who the hell d'you think you're fooling"? And does anyone know what single it's on? I once had it on a tape with no tracklisting and it was one of my favourite songs.

Re: dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

Sam Peckinpah's daughter! :)

Ace song!!!!!!!!!!! It's on the b-side on CD1 of Instant Street.

Re: dEUS return with a Pocket Revolution

The other b-side on that CD is "You Can't Deny What You Liked As A Child" and that is amazing!!!!!

oooh, dEUS, how you excite me so!
