Drowned in Sound love The Chalets: their synth-glockenspiel-girl-boy-pop-synchronisation antics are, we feel, just the ticket.
But you don't have to take our word for it - The Chalets will be putting their brilliance on public display in the form of a mini-tour on the following dates. Go. See them. Dance. Smile. You owe it to yourself, and to those who're sick of putting up with your boring whining about how there's just no good music around these days. No, don't argue - Drowned in Sound know quite well that you do this. Our cameras watch your every move, and if you don't go and see The Chalets our army of winged monkeys will rain down rotten cheese upon you from a great height... No, wait... Oh, damn - I got Drowned in Sound confused with the Wicked Witch of the West again. Sorry about that.

I think "Haygate, Wellington" is another listing. Can you let us know where they're playing in Birmingham please? I googled it but I can't find out!

as much as i like this band i'm not willing to pay 70 pounds to go to summer sundae to see them. Instead i will try to hatch a cunning plan to break into the festival, i've lived near victoria park for years so if anyone knows the way to infiltrate the security it shall be me, mwwahhh!!!-

if you pretend your 16 its only £15. this is my plan, though for all i know you could be a 40 year old hairy man, therefore this plan may not work for you.

Er, Haygate, Wellington is in Shropshire, a full 90 minutes away from Birmingham. Damn you for getting our hopes up...-

It's not quite 90 miles away, but it is around 35 miles away from Brum city centre which is still a bit of a treck.
