The Crazy Frog is back.

The CGI menace releases another single, 'Popcorn', on August 15th. An album, Crazy Hits, emerges from the swamp on July 25th.

'Axel F', the Frog's current chart hit, is the second-biggest selling single of 2005 (behind Tony Christie). 'Popcorn' is a take on Gershon Kingsley's composition which was a hit for Hot Butter in 1972, reaching number one in Germany. A ringtone of the song is already selling well according to Jamster.

Crazy Hits includes Froggy mixes of the themes from Dallas and The Pink Panther, as well as newly annoying versions of 'Pump Up The Jam' and 'Don't You Want Me'.

Will it ever end?

i only knew about a couple of months ago that it existed due to my little sis telling me and i've only seen heard it 3 times since, and that was only brief.

the stupid thing is easily avoided if you dont spend all your time watching tv and all that jazz.

Perhaps a call to arms is necessary here. Some kind of sabotage. Like going into your local virgin / hmv etc, and randomly relocating all crazy frog cds from the new releases section into the classical stuff, or metal sections. Or just removing the inlays from the cases and redistributing - but perhaps this is criminal damage.

Just make it difficult for this little fucker to reach its market. Its protectin'the kids, like!!!

OK, I've got it. Go to your local record shop. Pick up all the copies of the Crazy Frog record off the shelf. Stick them in a bin liner; tie it off. While your pal's distracting the person behind the counter (perhaps by buying something GOOD), you slip the bin liner behind the counter and scarper. Now, because you haven't actually taken the discs out of the shop, no alarms will sound and you are guilty of no crime...but at the end of the day, when all the rubbish goes out, Crazy Frog goes with it!

I think its brilliant actually. I think its great how we're becoming more and more European with our choices. I mean the types of food we like are becoming more and more european as opposed to "british foods" and now the two most popular (or at least sold most) songs are nothing short of the two main stays of any respectable Spannish/French disco. I think we should be applauded for how we are embracing Europe on such a level.
