Kaiser Chiefs were wicked at Frog on Saturday night. Shame about the music afterwards. Frog really needs to decide who they're catering for.

Kaiser Chiefs were ace, they really were great - i enjoyed the whole night though, but then I was a bit drunk...I can't really recall a single song played at all during the night. They made me dance like a twat though.

Frog is at the Mean Fiddler, Charing Cross Road, every Saturday night.

Ohh errrr despite all my moaning I was dancing like a twat too. Hmm... it's not any worse than that NME night I went to the other Wednesday...might try the Bunker at Metros tomorrow night. Sounds quite interesting....

Oh fuck off. I'll like what I like, and listen to what I wanna listen to. Just because you can't see past trying to be cool, doesn't mean I can't let some good pop tunes into my life. I'm more than familiar with hundreds of bands thank you, I have an extensive collection of music, some of which you'd like, some of which you wouldn't. As would everyone. So, until we all have to like and listen to the same thing in some kind of '1984' totalitarian future, why don't you just piss off.

And anyway, all we were talking about was the fact that they will have top ten hits, not that they're world beaters. And I'm confident that Reading 2005 will see the beers roll in from my little bet, mr. coin...

but really they are shit - and people in the press only like the Subways coz the bass player wears a short skirt and leather boots and is a teenager - come on face it - if they had the singer of The Music on bass they'd still be playing Berkshire Hobgoblin

The thing is, they're not shit. They write great three minute pop songs, they bring the happiness back into life. They're just a great, carefree little pop band. How can a band like that actually depress you? I fear you may be lying there. How much are they affecting your life, really?

how patronising is that -'little 3 minute pop songs' -so do Steps and 3 of a Kind, but it doesn't mean they are any good - there are plenty of bands out there who do the same only better and with a bit fo soul, passion, call it what you like - they are all just industry fodder with a shelfspan of a bottle of cough medicine who wont add nothing to the joy of music apart from maybe featuring for 17 seconds on a 'sad' episode of Hollyoaks. If these bands are you cup of tea then clearly you'll be an actuary by the time yr 30 with no care or consideration for music - as they say crass bands attact crass people

Because I like Kaiser Chiefs I'll have no interest in music in five years time?!? What an utter load of toss. I've been a member of the music buying public for ten years, and because I like the tunes that this band put together that's all going to change?! What?!?!

Industry fodder? What on earth is that supposed to mean? That they writte songs that appeal to record labels? Is that so bad? Maybe they like what they do, maybe a hell of a lot of other people do, and maybe, you know, that's the way the music business works.

And my mum's had cough medicine in her bathroom cabinet for about fifteen years. I'm not sure it's still drinkable, but still a hefty shelf life. So there's hope there.

i've only heard a couple of songs, but from what ive heard, they're pretty damn good.

one of my friends saw them supporting the ordinary boys and said they were great.
