heard these on Thursday, I am now even more excited about this, if that was even possible. Archers kicks a ridiculous amount of arse and Jesus Christ is absolutely beautiful, and it sounds a LOT like Modest Mouse. Not The Sun is ok.

The one listed as Take Apart Your Head is actually called Degausser. It's a great song although I'm not sure about the kids choir in the chorus, I preferred the live version where Jesse screamed that bit.
Limousine is strange, dark and epic. I'm not sure what to make of it yet.

but I've never heard of them. Can someone fill me in on what they sound like and what I should listen to prior to Feb please?
I've heard them described as
At The Drive-In mixed with Joy Division kinda, but that doesn't cover it at all, definitely not for the new stuff. It's just really spiritual rock with almost spoken-word vocals and AMAZING lyrics.
All 3 albums are great. Check out the songs January 1979 (what a song!), Paper Hanger, Torches Together, In A Sweater Poorly Knit, Bullet To Binary.

They are well good. I saw them once purely by accident and fell in love with them.

that the only demos used in full on the album were 6 and 8.
i have read around though that some parts of the demos are scattered around in different songs: apparently the chorus of demo 9 is in one of the leaked songs?

Archers incorporates a very small part of demo 9 but really it's a totally different song.
Luca (which hasn't leaked yet but has been played live) is an altered demo 6. Sowing Season (the single) is an altered demo 8.
And having given...
...all of the demos arbritary names, I have no idea which is which!
