Bez is Back!

Happy Monday's Legend Bez has started a new band, and they're playing at Rhythm Factory this Thursday.

They're called Domino Bones, and are being supported by Moco, Crash Convention and Bleedin' Shotgun.
Dj Radio Jamaica will be spinning records until 2am.

Oh, and all drinks are £1.50 all night.

This worries me. Bez is known to be wittless and a sellout, and now he's started a band. Are we all supposed to flock down there now because he use to dance in a big band ?

He is a funny bastard though, I'll probally be there.....doh!

Funny you should mention this I have some gossip. Shaun Ryder is being sued so cant make money himself and is writting all of Bez's songs. You heard it here 1st.......

Hold on a minute buddy, I dont think you can question their talent, sure the Mondays were legends but I think Libertines will surpass all that has come before !!!

I'm sorry but if you are going to bitch and moan about the Libertines, at least use a better band than The Happy Mondays in your argument.

How can anyone not get an overhyped, overated band with a stereotypical drug casuality becoming an icon by being their fucked up gogo dancer ?

You're not allowed to question the merit of any of these Liverpool bands on a music board.

Did u see sean ryder on that music hall of fame programme. Who do you think he was speaking on the behalf of....?

The Bee Gees. Ha. He was really funny, saying how all his friends take the piss because he likes them, as if he could expect anything else.

I like the Happy Mondays, I listened to them in high school. Not sure if it would stand up now (in fact I'm pretty certain it wouldn't) but I remember listening to Loose Fit 10 times in a row on my tape Walkman. One of the first """alternative""" bands I got into actually.

uuurrrr i hate domino bones. saw them at that getloaded thing in clapham, they were awful. one of the worst things i've ever seen. if you've seen that documentary on shaun ryder, the bit where bez is up a hill making a video, that's basically what you get from a live domino bones performance - goggly eyed man wearing undertaker-style hat steps backwards and forwards carrying a stick for half an hour to some sub-crack-era mondays drivel. do miss it!

Baggy Power, alas, is being brought to the new generation by the likes of Kasabian. How they get away with being so blatantly derivative of The Stone Roses and Primal Scream, et al, is beyond me. Talentless copy cats with not an original bone in their skinny, befreckled little bodies. Ugh.
