Arctic Monkeys tour

The band released debut single 'Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys' back in May and we said that, "if five minutes with Arctic Monkeys is this much fun, god help us when the little blighters finally get around to releasing an album." They follow it up on October 10th with new single 'I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor' and a 13-date UK tour:

Are this band really worth the amount of hype they're getting, or will they be falling on their skinny 'lil asses before we know it? I'm not sure, the music's OK but they've got the advantage of been signed to a f'kin great label. -

I don't want to sign up to the mailing list. You get a shit load of spam and crap from other companies.
Plus, its not on NME.com's front page.
And I'm not gonna check their site every day. Its hardly ever updated. -

Im seeing them on 17th August.....the beauty of livin down south.....nobody gives a fuck about hype.....so you can still get tickets up until the week before the gig.....well that is until the Monkeys hit CD:UK, the top ten and 10 year old kids are whistling the tunes on the way to school. -

all you music lovers out there this band is the shit but do you think they are going to be like the killers and like just a wee bit of fame like ive been hearing them none stop sooo i think they cud go that way but i really really hope not this is the band of the year for sure yeooooooo!!!!!!!
