Mister Mick Jagger of pop-rockin' oldies The Rolling Stones has started work on a screenplay. He's quoted by contactmusic.com thus:

"It's about a guy who wants revenge. It's only a small movie and I've already written half of it."

The other half will no doubt have to wait, as The Stones begin their worldwide A Bigger Bang tour on August 21st in Boston.

Jagger's no stranger to flicks, of course - he was praised for his performance in, um, Performance actually. He was in Freejack, though, which was shit squared.

I'm sorry but whilst it's lyrically shit, there's worse. Once some controversy started, Jagger denied it was about Bush and basically took it all back. Streetfighting man my arse.

What i heard was that it was Keith Richards who was tryin 2 play it down, because he lives in America. Jagger said fuck 'im and said "Yeah, its about Bush." That's what i heard anyway.

Mick Jagger is an arse-licking aristocrat-wannabee and his music's been wickety-wickety-wack since about 1973, but if he's prepared to take a pop at Bush, then fair play to him. The left always gets bogged down by bickering and infighting - 'you're not cool enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with me' is what is comes down to - while The Right are always prepared to put aside their differences and unite towards the common goal of scamming some more money off the poor and blaming powerless minorities for everything.

Don't shoot the messenger because (his version of) the news is bad (ly worded and probably four and a half cocking minutes long)
