(mine at least)
just write down the first 100 albums that you really really really like.
take out all the ones that arent the best by the artist in question
just go round deleting ones at random as you decide that theyre not really that great
(note: dont look back. you can never look back. or youd be here for years)
THEN
imagine the albums youve written down are called a, b, c etc
seperate a from the list.
now look at b.
is b better than a? lets say it is, and you put it at the top
is c better than a? yes. is c better than b? no. so it goes between
is d better than a? yes. better than c? yes. better than b? yes. so it goes at the top.
is e better than a? yes. better than c? no. dont bother comparing e to b or d, cos you already have, by extension.
then you end up with a fantastically disjointed list like mine, with 80s matchbox at the top.
