Montreal-based outfit Stars, currently drowning in the rabid praise coming their way from all corners, have a few live dates penciled in for September. You could go, y'know...

September
Wed 7th London The Garage
Thu 8th Manchester Roadhouse
Fri 9th Glasgow King Tuts
Sat 10th Dublin Sugar Club
Sun 11th Cardiff Barfly

The band's recent Set Yourself On Fire album is out right this very minute. Rolling Stone gave it five of their stars, so it must be better than, say, Kasabian or something.

i like stars, but that cover is irritatingly similar to EITS' 'the earth is not a cold, dead place'

looking forward to sopening for these guys in cardiff tomorrow, looks like people looove them... second best thing about touring is getting to play with great bands, and see them play FOR FREE!!! i tell thee.

Anyone seeing them in Reading?

Hi guys,

New on here, but wanted to see who else is going to see Stars at 21 South Street Arts Centre on Wednesday? I can't wait. Got some friends coming down from London too. I've been hearing quite a bit about My Latest Novel too. Are they as good as they sound?
