The end is nigh.

Garbage cancel European dates

What sort of person actually goes to Garbage gigs these days? Honestly though, who sees they have a tour and decides that they simply have to buy a ticket and go see them?

Re: Garbage cancel European dates

can anyone say "no tickets were sold" ?

Re: Garbage cancel European dates

They sold out Brixton effortlessly in June *shrugs*

I thought they injected a bit of liveliness into a somewhat pedestrian Sunday Pyramid Stage line-up at Glastonbury (the magnificent Brian Wilson notwithstanding).

But I saw them in Bristol about three years ago and they didn't even fill the hall that night, so how they expected to sell out Cardiff Arena which has four times the capacity is beyond me...

Were tickets like £30 for these venues?

Garbage cancel European dates

Indeed they were. I had freebies so am slightly disappointed coz I still think their first album is a great album.

Plus, I didn't see them at Glasto, but my friend did and he said they were really good.

Yeah they were a surprise his at Glasto. £30 is a bit steep though. They aren't U2 are they?

Re: Garbage cancel European dates

Hit, even. Gah.

They were so excellent at Brixton earlier this year that I had a ticket to see them again.

But I think that's it for them now. Good (mostly) while they lasted.
